Arabest

Arabest is a flow forward tool to learn Arabic touch typing and pronunciation in a cozy style game. 

Arabest uses several learning algorithms including Leitner's spaced repetition and a simple queue system. Users can upload vocabulary words from a .csv or manually enter individual words within the tool.

“Gameplay” is simple. When a word is shown, pressing "tab" will play the pronunciation or the word aloud. Next practice typing the word and then see the translation. 

There are a lot of features upcoming for the app and I’m working to improve it everyday. I am also working with Joe Maher for design and Jason Kasman for copy and good vibes. The goal is a minimally viable game by spring 2024.
